About the Photograph:

The photograph was taken at Lake Manasarovar in July 2014 .The Lake is situated 20kms  away from Mt. Kailash and is the most beautiful and sacred lake in Asian Tibetan Plateau. It is named by the Tibetans as ‘The Unconquerable Lake’ and sits at a height of 15015 ft, with a circumference of 90km (56 miles). The highest source of fresh water in the world, this blue and emerald green lake is attributed with healing properties. The Lake is of considerable religious significance to people in Asia and attracts number of pilgrims from Tibet, India and Nepal.
